about the artist

Rémy was born in Roberval, Québec and now resides in Montréal with his two cats, Adele and Babette. Rémy has been a professional illustrator since 1980 and has published more than 80 children's books (in both French and English) with Scholastic, HarperCollins, Annick Press, La Pastèque, Casterman and others.His illustrations have appeared in Today's Parent, Reader's Digest, Maclean's Magazine, The Globe and Mail and La Presse. Rémy was the guest of honor at the 37th Salon du Livre de Montreal. Recently Rémy authored and illustrated the comic book Mes Dinky about his passion, dinky cars.
