From the Editor
In Iowa, where I live, there are four distinct seasons, and I think my favorite is autumn. The leaves have changed from myriad shades of green to mustard gold, rusty orange, and crimson red. Pumpkin patches and apple orchards are filled with families enjoying hayrides and farm-fresh produce. The air is crisp and cool. And while I decorate my home with quilts year-round, changing them out for the season, I particularly enjoy displaying fall- and Halloween-inspired throws, wall quilts, and table toppers. In this issue of American Patchwork & Quilting® magazine, we have gathered several projects that might inspire you to do the same.
