60 seconds with lindyl crabb

For this issue of Belle, Lindyl wrote about a Sydney home (shot by Prue Ruscoe, above left) by Tahma Smith of Mrs Smith, p168. I was taken with the way Tahma elevated the beauty of those natural materials. And her intuitive respect for the location, without succumbing to coastal clichés. Favourite career experiences? Interviewing passionate, intelligent and talented creatives, particularly CFDA media award winner Garance Doré. Who are some of your enduring creative influences? Phoebe Philo. Sofia Coppola. Gabriel García Márquez. Jean Cocteau. Henry Miller. Where is home for you? Geographically, Sydney. Emotionally, home is with my partner and our labrador, Delphine. Favourite local haunts? Ester. Go for weekend lunch – it’s even more special filled with natural light. 10 William Street. Continental Deli Bar & Bistro. Carriageworks Farmers Market…
