EVERY SERIES OF THIS COMEDY anthology from Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith leaves us in awe at its invention and wit, but we really think the current run might be the best yet. The show’s ability to create a complete self-contained world in 30 minutes puts many eight-part dramas to shame, and we never fully know when we tune in each week if we’re going to be left breathless from laughter or utterly heartbroken – or some combination of the two. I end up watching things later than most people. I only watched the first season of Stranger Things a few weeks ago! But I devoured it incredibly quickly.
