Why did you want to do this series? I liked the idea of doing a comedy. And a steady job is a really good thing when you’re raising kids and sending them to college. How was the production? We shot in L.A. at Sony, which is the old MGM, where they shot The Wizard of Oz. It was cool being on a real Hollywood lot. You’re about to release your first novel, The Perfume Burned His Eyes.
