TOOLS Before you begin any quilting project, collect the tools and materials you’ll need in one easy-to-access place. Below is a list of general supplies. FOR CUTTING Acrylic ruler: This thick, clear-plastic ruler helps you make perfectly straight cuts with a rotary cutter. Many sizes are available. Marking tools: Use special fabric markers so the marks are easy to remove after sewing and quilting.
