Stephen Rogers was appointed Chief Operating Officer and Nathan Pendergast, Head of Television & Broadcast. CZECH MOTOCROSS LEGEND Jaroslav Falta passed away on March 27, 2022. According to information from iDNES.cz, Falta died suddenly of heart failure at the age of 71. Falta became a legend for all the wrong reasons when he appeared to be robbed of the 1974 FIM World Motocross Championship after alleged interference from Russian riders at the final round. Dirty riding and a protest from the Russians ensured victory to Falta’s rival, Moiseev, a Russian who died in 2017 with three 250 World Championships.…

THE 2022 YAMAHA Australian Off-Road Championship has started with a bang with some fresh names up the front. Round one and two at Cherrabah, Queensland saw Shop Yamaha Off-Road Racing Team’s Kyron Bacon emerge victorious aboard his Yamaha WR250F. Bacon took out the E1 class and the overall win. Andy Wilksch showed what a year and half of racing enduro in Europe can do for your development with a solid second place overall and topping the E3 class standings on a Husqvarna TE 501. Wilksch went a step further at round three in Mackay by topping the overall charts with his first AORC overall win. WITH THE 2022 Tatt’s Finke Desert Race fast approaching members of the Australian Defence Force units from all over Australia are gearing up to take on this challenging race. Each year more and more Soldiers are coming together to reconnect with mates, and to push themselves both mentally and physically at this gruelling event. The 5th Battalion Royal Australian Regiment is fielding a team of riders and has a team of Army mechanics for support. Other units representing Army this year at Finke is University NSW Regiment, Royal South Australian Regiment and the School of Infantry.
