THE NEW 2022 MR 200 and 300 Ranger models from Rieju have landed. The new MR Ranger offers a robust two-stroke powerplant and plush suspension. The MR Ranger is the softer version of the MR Racing with a lower seat height and user-friendly power. The new model features an updated starting system with revised kick-starter, updated dual-mode mapping, new footpeg assembly, updated sidestand, new cylinder head braces, updated exhaust, adjustable rear linkage with a range of +7mm to -31mm and redesigned graphics. The MR Ranger is LAMS approved, fully homologated, road registerable, and now available in all Australian Rieju dealerships from $12,790. THE 2023 KTM SX range has arrived and the big news is, there is plenty to talk about. The 125SX, 250SX and 300SX two-stroke models have an all-new injection system. Carburetors are gone and a new 39mm throttle body and injectors take control of the fueling. This is not the same transfer port injection system used on the EXC models, this is all-new and the SX models still require pre-mix fuel at 60:1. However, the new SX models also come with a new cylinder head, new electronic power-valve and electric-start. There are also two maps to choose from that provide softer power or a more aggressive delivery. KTM HAS CHOSEN to stick with what they have for their EXC range in 2023 with a fresh look the only update. The new graphic design with white, purple and orange pays homage to the early ‘90s enduro models and is accompanied by the race-inspired orange-coated Chromoly steel frame. If you are frothing for an updated KTM EXC you most likely only have to wait for the 2024 model year to arrive which will likely follow the all-new 2023 SX models. THE 2023 SHERCO enduro models have been released with only the Factory lineup on offer with the entry-level Racing models no longer offered. The new models remain unchanged for 2023 except for new graphics. This is not necessarily a bad thing with the likes of New Zealand’s Hamish Macdonald charging hard near the front of the pack on the World EnduroGP circuit and Tasmania’s Jonte Reynders doing similar things here in the Australian Off-Road Championship.
