THE PILOT SEASON of the FIM World Supercross Championship (WSX) has been run and won, all within the production deadline of a single monthly issue of ADB. What was originally three, possibly four rounds, ended up being a two round series. It came to a close in Melbourne's Marvel Stadium last month with four World Champions crowned. German rider Ken Roczen, riding for Yarrive Konsky's Genuine Honda team, is the first WSX champion. Finishing second after getting a flat tyre in a dramatic WSX Australian Grand Prix that saw Kawasaki's Joey Savagty win the Triple Crown format, the WSX title ends a championship drought for Roczen.
