For part of the main route skirting our island, the Bruce Highway is pretty ordinary in parts. We have recently done the trip up and back to Bowen and you need to be on your game towing a van. It was before check-in time when the vans started rolling in, and a corner site close to the entrance was the perfect place to cheer as Titanium caravans rolled on into the lovely caravan park. And as the day passed, they kept coming. By the end of the day, you could have been forgiven for thinking it was a Titanium caravans only park! How many were there, people were asking. Did anyone keep count? Some heard 51, others 53. There wasn't an exact count, so we'll settle with lots!
