Michelin Tyres Australia has issued a recall for 4,000 affected units over a manufacturing issue affecting owners of the 295/80R22.5 X INCITY XZU3+ TL 152/148J model between 2017 and 2021. The regulator says owners can check if their tyre is included in the recall as the recalled tyres have the following tyre identification numbers on the sidewall: • DOT B8EA, followed by the number (week and year) 4017 (inclusive) to 3120 (inclusive) The recall has been issued due to some aspects of the model not meeting manufacturing specifications. As a result, a small separation may generate along the edge of the radial steel belts which may lead to a larger separation developing.
