welcome

They are acting royalty who now share the screen in the deeply moving and darkly comedic new FOXTEL Original series The End. Dame Harriet Walter and Frances O’Connor ponder life’s biggest questions in our cover story (from page 16), as they reveal what’s in store for viewers when this Aussie-set drama premieres. Exploring complex topics – including dementia, depression, sexuality, addiction and assisted dying – this brilliantly cast series will have you crying and laughing as it navigates the heartache and gut-wrenching moments faced by many families. On a lighter note, the delightful Curtis Stone opens up about his new LifeStyle Food series, while our favourite Gogglebox Australia families are back for a 13th season. There’s also sports aplenty, with Supercars back at Bathurst to open the season and all the action of the…

SUPERMAN & LOIS Starts EXPRESS February 25, Thursdays at 8.30pm and watch On Demand FOX8 [108] Clark Kent and Lois Lane had it all. Lois was a star reporter for the Daily Planet, Clark could turn into Superman for some world-saving action and the pair was raising baby boy Jon. Fortunately, at the conclusion of that five-episode arc our heroes were restored, leading us to Superman & Lois, the much anticipated seventh series set in the Arrowverse. the joys of teenage love

In the opening minutes of Wentworth’s season eight premiere, Zoe Terakes set the tone for how they were going to play the character of Reb Keane. Their dramatic timing was spot-on – flawed, gutsy and understated in all the right places. Now, they are back on the screen in uplifting queer teen flick Ellie & Abbie (& Ellie’s Dead Aunt). In the delightful Australian rom-com, Terakes and their co-star Sophie Hawkshaw portray high schoolers – Abbie and Ellie, respectively – who fall in love. Terakes’s Wentworth co-star Marta Dusseldorp also features as school captain Ellie’s brittle mother Erica. The overall premise of the film – which also includes Ellie’s gay dead aunt Tara (Julia Billington) giving advice on how to ask Abbie to their school formal – is something Terakes says they wanted…

rapid response with grant gustin

Wearing the suit for filming of The Flash gives me… anxiety. It’s funny, it’s a double-edged sword in a way, where it’s tough to wear for long periods of time – the armpits aren’t super comfortable – but the other side is that it’s the coolest part of the job. It’s a superhero suit that was designed for me and I get to put it on to go to work. The rehearsal time we get for The Flash is… almost zero, to be honest. We have about eight days of shooting each episode. Luckily, I have a pretty intense dance background and I can pick up choreography easily. So for fight choreography, I’ll learn maybe an hour maximum, but sometimes five minutes, before we shoot something. When I watch TV, I must…
