When it comes to dramatic storylines, Wentworth is the gift that keeps on giving. The new season kicks off this month and, as our cover star Kate Jenkinson reveals, fans are in for a wild and gripping ride – right from the very first episode. The actress, who joined the cast as Allie Novak in season four, has a whole new look and reigns supreme as Top Dog when the local production returns. Allie is out to prove she’s made of tough stuff, especially when it comes to prison newcomer Lou Kelly (Kate Box). Along with fellow castmates, the pair talks us through this latest offering from page 8. From Planet Earth to the great beyond, we’ve hand-picked the unmissable documentary series and specials screening in July, plus there’s an amazing…

With a new multi-year licensing deal between Foxtel and WarnerMedia having been announced recently, Foxtel will continue to be the Home of HBO and Warner Bros in Australia. aussie love story

It’s the global phenomenon that has captured the attention of audiences everywhere and spawned more than half a dozen equally popular spin-offs. This month, 90 Day Fiancé returns with Before the 90 Days – focusing on online long-distance couples yet to start the US visa process – and this time, it’s featuring the first same-sex couple and two Aussies! For American mum-of-two Avery Warner and her Melbourne-based beau Ash Naeck (both pictured), himself a dad-of-one, their budding romance is hampered by ongoing jealousy. Will Naeck’s job as a relationship coach – which sees him spend a lot of time talking to single women – spell the beginning of the end? Meanwhile, Aussie photographer Erika Owens and New York influencer Stephanie Matto may be breaking the 90 Day Fiancé mould, but with Matto not…

nrl hiatus was humbling

It was strange being in isolation while the NRL was postponed. It put limitations on how we trained but, through WhatsApp, the team tried to keep each other accountable by putting up videos and making sure everyone was onboard while training alone. We tried to keep it fun. From a mental health perspective, we all stayed in regular contact and pushed each other along, attempting to make life as normal as possible. Being a dad with a two-year-old son, getting the opportunity to be at home with my family was awesome. I missed the camaraderie of my team, but seeing my son grow up every day was special. When we resumed training, we actually had more tantrums from him as he got so used to me being at home. This is my…

broadband made simple

Andrew Winter has been a staple on Foxtel for more than a decade, regularly gracing our screens during all 13 seasons of the award-winning Selling Houses Australia and, more recently, Love It Or List It Australia. So it’s safe to say that the real estate expert has seen his fair share of changes to the television landscape during that time. While you can rest assured he isn’t planning on quitting his day job any time soon – “There is only one place I want to be in 10 years, and that’s exactly where I am now,” he proudly declares to Foxtel magazine – as the face of Foxtel Broadband, Winter has made some handy improvements around the house recently. Getting Foxtel Broadband means he can do all the things he loves in the…
