1. Spiced Majik Milk Blend together 2½ cups milk of your choice (we like unsweetened almond milk), ¾ teaspoon Blue Majik (a good-for-you extract from algae—find it on Amazon or at your local health-food store), and 1 teaspoon cardamom until smooth. Warm over low heat. 2. Cardamom-Rose Milk Blend 2½ cups milk of your choice (unsweetened vanilla almond milk is extra tasty here), 3 tablespoons of dried rose petals (find them at a tea shop), and 1 teaspoon of cardamom until smooth. Compression flossing refers to wrapping a band around a muscle group or joint while you work out or stretch, resulting in more joint mobility, says David Reavy, founder of React PT in Chicago and Health advisory board member. It’s a sure sign winter is (finally!) over when radishes start taking center stage at the farmers’ market. Full of fiber and vitamin C, these cabbage cousins pack a peppery bite that will liven up everything on your plate. Alana Chernila, author of Eating from the Ground Up, offers these ways to enjoy radishes—beyond crudités. 1. Savory Spread Chop radishes finely, and fold into softened butter with salt, lemon zest, and a squeeze of lemon juice. Enjoy on crostini or crackers. 2.
