Ferrari's latest Icona series special is a throwback to front-engined V12 Ferraris of the late ’60s and boulevard cruisers from the U.S.. But while today's Daytona SP3 may be inspired by the past, it’s also a futuristic interpretation of classic sports prototypes like the Monza SP1 and SP2 Iconas. At the heart is the 812 Competizione’s naturally aspirated mid-mounted 6.5 litre V12. The motor’s peak outputs are 618kW at 9250 rpm and 697Nm at 7250 rpm, making it the most powerful non-electric and most potent naturally aspirated V12 at Ferrari’s disposal. Along with an upgraded seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, it accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 2.95 seconds and tops 340km/h.
