Don’t get me wrong, holidaying here this year has…

Perched in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, each villa has its own private pool, curving slide, huge al fresco deck, and a retractable ceiling in the master bedroom for optimum stargazing. conquer the northwest passage

The frozen tundra of the Canadian Arctic is a true land of myth and lore. Hardy explorers once faced the most challenging conditions in their quest to chart new shipping routes through the ice-choked waters. The story of the Northwest Passage and its tragic consequences reminds us of these once hazardous regions. Nowadays, modern explorers can venture into this mystic realm in the safety and comfort of 21st-century vessels such as Quark Expeditions’ Ultramarine. In 2021, the Seattle-based company will celebrate 30 years of continuous operation and at one time held the record for the farthest south any vessel had sailed when the famous icebreaker Kapitan Khlebnikov broke Roald Amundsen’s 95-year record. ICE-STRENGTHENED ULTRAMARINE Ultramarine heralds a whole new era in modern expedition cruising. Carrying just 199 guests, this sleek, futuristic polar vessel is equipped…
