TALKING POINT In a historic first, planning has begun for formal treaty negotiations between Victoria’s First Peoples’ Assembly and the state’s government. The meeting follows more than seven months of community consultation and marks the start of a process that aims to create the framework for Victoria’s treaty negotiations.
