I rejoice at that first glimmer of sunshine. In fact, last year’s never-ending summer made me possibly the happiest I have ever been – gin and tonics in the garden, picnics on the beach, a chance to wear my vast repertoire of sundresses (I have an affliction). Will this year be as good? I’m hopeful – and we have curated this issue with that same relentlessly positive attitude. For me, summer started a few weeks ago, when we whisked our cover star, Stacey Dooley, to Portugal for my favourite shoot to date. the fashion influence

BEYOND THE BEACH New swimwear label Arabella London is responsible for two additions to my suitcase. Its beautiful bikinis and swimsuits are multifunctional and designed to be worn beyond the beach. Wear with high-waisted jeans and a cropped cardigan for day and with a statement skirt and heels at night. The silhouettes have a romantic retro edge, give the same support and fit as your lingerie and sit at the perfect point to be flattering on all shapes. I’ve decided to go for sunset shades of cherry red and tangerine. JUST PURR-FECT It’s time to ditch my faithful aviators and try a new style of sunnies. I love the 1950s glamour of these cat eyes by Le Specs and Ganni. IN THE NUDE There’s a new shoe trend happening this summer, but blink and you’ll…
