Fact File Age: 46 Family: Married to Geoff and we share our lives with Bear, a Kelpie x Heeler who basically runs the house. Scrappy style: Mostly mixed media and a little experimental. Other hobbies/interests: Dog obedience and agility with Bear, going to the movies with Geoff, taking Bear to the beach in summer, catching up with friends, a little quilting and decorating our home. Favourite techniques: Anything that involves getting messy or trying new things. Fun fact: I love colour, sunshine and summer. Our new home has huge windows to let the sunshine in and so far we have feature walls in red, orange and blue, with more to come in green and yellow. I hibernate in winter as I can’t stand the cold. Fact File Age: 42 Family: Husband, Shane of 22 years. Son Cameron (21), daughter Kaitlyn (19) and a ADHD Fox terrier x Jack Russell called Xander. Occupation: Director and early childhood educator of a child care centre. This experience has given me an insight to the importance of the process of creating rather than only focusing on the end product. Scrappy style: Art-based with lots of texture, paint, mixed media and mess. Other hobbies/interests: Camping in the wilderness. I even scrapbook while I’m camping. I call it Scramping! Favourite techniques: Using watercolours and acrylics to create backgrounds. Fun fact: Many years ago, I stated at a scrapbooking party “I will never be a scrapbooker. It’s just not my thing!” I bought a black ink pad, a stamp and some patterned paper and I’ve never looked back! Blog: www.pastichescrapbookstudio.blogspot.com.au Those…

Occupation: I’m a stay at home mother but I have degrees in Japanese studies, marketing and primary teaching! Scrappy style: It really varies, but lately I tend towards a mixed-media style. I love big portions of white space but I also love huge amounts of glorious colour. Other hobbies/interests: I’ve just learnt to crochet, and I love it. I try to spend some time studying Japanese whenever I can. I’m also very interested in nutrition and I’ve been spending a lot of time cultivating our new vegie garden! Favourite techniques: Using Gelatos as paints, stencilling, paint splatters and lots of…

Fact File Age: 41 Family: Wife to Chris. Mum to Oliver (8) and Samuel (4), plus Ebony the dog. Occupation: Optometrist but taking the longest maternity leave ever! I will go back to optometry once my youngest starts school. I teach at my LSS, Tomorrow’s Memories, and also have a Madeit store where I sell handmade cards and other goodies. Scrappy style: Mostly clean and simple with lots of white space, but I do love to splat ink around and machine-stitch everything down. Other hobbies/interests: I crochet most nights in front of the TV, and I also love cardmaking and art journalling when I want to get messy. Favourite techniques: I’m not a ‘technique-y’ scrapper but lately I’ve been using my spray inks with stencils on my pages and using my Silhouette Cameo to create embellishments. Fun…

Fact File Age: You never ask a girl her age! But I on am the wrong side of 40. Family: I live with three teenage boys (one of those being my husband...he has never grown up). We also have a dog and two rabbits that complete our happy family. Occupation: Retired Physical Education teacher. Scrappy style: I don’t think I really have a style as such but do love all things messy, so I guess I am a mixed-media scrapper. I do a lot of masculine pages due to the lack of females in our house...it’s me or the dog! Other hobbies/interests: I dabble in a bit of photography (don’t we all as scrappers?) much to my family’s horror, love a good book (can never turn my brain off to sleep unless I have a…
