Canon has unveiled EOS Rebel SL3 D-SLR (250D in Indian market) camera, the smallest and lightest product within its current EOS lineup. Weighing just 449 grams, the camera features a 24.1 MP CMOS APS-C imaging sensor, DIGIC 8 Image Processor and 3.0-inch vari-angle LCD touchscreen as well as 4K video, a first for the EOS Rebel lineup. The SL3 is compatible with Canon’s full line of interchangeable EF and EF-S lenses and can instantly send images to compatible smartphones through Auto Image Transfer via Wi-Fi connectivity.The EOS Rebel SL3 features autofocus (AF) capabilities, delivering nine AF points across the optical viewfinder, including a new Spot AF which allows users to focus on a precise area within the subject. Panasonic has announced Lumix G95, a hybrid mirrorless camera for both photo and video applications. The camera has a 20.3 MP Digital Live MOS sensor and a 5-axis dual image stablisation, which effectively suppresses blurring to enable a 5-stop slower shutter speed by combining the 2-axis optical image stabliser and 5-axis body image stabliser.The camera’s Contrast AF System features DFD (Depth From Defocus) technology and can exchange digital signals between camera and lens at a maximum of 240 fps, resulting in auto-focussing of approx. 0.07 sec., according to Panasonic. Panasonic has announced that it has updated the Lumix G telephoto zoom lens based on the Micro Four Thirds System standard. In addition to the zoom range from wide-angle to telephoto, the new Lumix G Vario 14-140 mm f/3.5-5.6 II ASPH. / POWER O.I.S. lens features a splash/dust-resistant construction for heavy field use while retaining a compact and lightweight design.The zoom range of 14-140 mm (35 mm camera equivalent: 28-280 mm) suits a wide range of shooting situations, including shooting landscapes, bringing subjects up close or shooting portraits with beautifully defocussed backgrounds.The lens is comprised of 14 elements in 12 groups, featuring three aspherical lenses and two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lenses.
