loafing around

Back in the day, my mum had a few key recipes on rotation to feed the family, and one I remember most fondly is her meatloaf. It was a classic recipe, served with mash and gravy, and it always hit the spot. Our Food Director, Claire, decided it was about time to give the original an update, and the results are pure genius! From mini Cheeseburger Meatloaves to a parmigiana-inspired version, I think your family is set to find a new favourite (p44). Speaking of favourites, Mexican recipes are always in the top searches on taste.com.au, so we’ve created a new menu, perfect for entertaining (p58). There’s a clever Cheat’s Enchilada Bake, an amazing churros doughnut slice filled with sticky caramel sauce, and our show-stopping cover star, Nachos Cob Dip! Super-fun and…

I would definitely make it again because it was a winner with my family and makes a great weeknight dinner. Katrina Lahood, via Instagram STACKS ON I made the delicious Cheesy Bacon and Zucchini Fritters (November 2018, p18) for hubby and I for Sunday brunch. The stack looked amazing and they were so tasty and very filling. Hubby was very happy he had leftovers for his lunch on Monday. Thanks Super Food Ideas for another great recipe. Heather Izett, via Instagram SUMMER-LOVIN’ SALAD DAYS With warmer days on the way, thoughts turn to family get-togethers and easy entertaining, so I was thrilled to…
