Tim Tam fan I am completely hooked on the Chewy Tim Tam Brownies (April 2015, p84)! I have tried lots of variations using different Tim Tam flavours and they all turned out beautifully — here’s the salted caramel version. Angie Gray, via email COOK THE COVER My 10-year-old son recently saw your magazine at the supermarket and asked me to buy it as he loved the look of your August cover recipe — One Pan Sticky Chicken and ‘Fried’ Rice (p18). He said ‘Mum, buy me the magazine and the ingredients, I want to cook dinner for you all!’ He made it and the Bacon-wrapped Meatloaf (p45). They were both a hit. behind the scenes

1 Art director, Sarah, was whisked away to Western Sydney Parklands by Stoneleigh Wild Valley wines to learn all about foraging for food and sample a few wild fermented wines. Tough gig? 2 If you can’t decide which of our barbie sides (p61) to try first, just follow our cue and cook them all! This picture certainly proves sides can be the main attraction. 3 We were treated to a pre-Christmas feast thanks to Woolworths. There were all the usual suspects, from prawns to mince pies, as well as the infamous turducken! This glorious glazed ham went down a treat. 4 Doughnut on top of a milkshake? That’s so last month! The new dessert trend taking Instagram by storm is dessert coconuts. Cronut coconut, anyone? 5 A sticky date layer cake with luscious caramel…
