crazy caraboat

ALTHOUGH PAGE SPACE is at a premium more now than ever, when we got a call from our New South Wales sales manager about a new caravan-cum-boat, I’ll admit I was sceptical. cat fight at scibs

SANCTUARY Cove International Boat Show 2016 is set to feature Queensland’s largest multihull display. Australia’s major catamaran dealers and distributors will showcase their latest models in power and sail, along with presentations on how to achieve true work-life balance through ‘Seabatticals’ – extended time away cruising. SCIBS general manager Johan Hasser said the strong showing reflects the rise in popularity of cats. “We have seen the emergence of a catamaran superhighway along Australia’s eastern seaboard up to Hamilton Island and the Whitsundays.” Exhibitors at SCIBS 2016 will include Multihull Solutions, Multihull Central, Leopard, Marine Engineering Consultants (MEC), Horizon, Lightwave, Bavaria (Nautitech), Queensland Yacht Charters and The Windcraft Group. John Cowpe, MD of The Multihull Group (part of Windcraft) announced the Australian debut of the new Lagoon 450 SporTop and Lagoon 40 Motor Yacht at SCIBS. “Lagoon…

Princess Yachts is returning to the Australian show circuit after a three-year absence, unveiling its latest V39 luxury sports yacht at the upcoming 28th Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS). Hugh Simson, sales manager at importer Boutique Boat Company, said they were enthusiastic about exhibiting at SCIBS. He believes the brand will excite visitors and mirror its sales success in Europe. “We are planning to exhibit the current Princess V39 model which has achieved international acclaim and was declared, pound for pound, the best sports cruiser under 45-feet. “We will also have sales staff on hand specialising in Princess Yachts and our customary hospitality.” Also confirmed for display is the De Antonio D23, a versatile supertender that doubles as a day boat. “In Europe, this kind of craft is extremely popular and a must-have for…
