The global theme for Vogue this month is Code Breakers, which encourages us as editors and readers to challenge stereotypes and our own gender bias. So, for the first time in the 63-year history of Vogue Australia, we feature a man, solo, on our cover. Code Breakers is about championing the connectors and collaborators who are shaking up the system, and who better to feature on the cover of Vogue than Indigenous Australian music phenomenon, The Kid Laroi. At just 18, he’s been nominated for Best New Artist at this month’s Grammys, and his song Stay with Justin Bieber hit number one in the music charts across 23 countries.
