Toast with a pumpkin spice margarita! Rich, sweet pumpkin pairs perfectly with a salty margarita. Start by making pumpkin simple syrup: Combine 1 can pumpkin purée, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 2 cups water in a saucepan over low heat. Stir for 15 minutes; remove from heat, cool and strain. Combine the juice of 1/2 a lime, 2 oz. tequila, 2 oz. pumpkin simple syrup and 1/2 oz. orange liqueur in an ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake well and pour into a salt-rimmed glass. Start the day with a pumpkin smoothie!
