Historic Hummelstown
I hope you are all enjoying the pleasant spring months, and that you are not living in those areas of the country that have been recently ravaged by storms and tornadoes, some of which were truly remarkable to behold. That said, this month I am going to stay a bit closer to home, and take you to Hummelstown, Pa., a small borough 9 miles east of Harrisburg and the town just west of the popular tourist destination, Hershey, Pa., the Chocolate Town. Hummelstown, Pa., is located off U.S. Route 422 in Dauphin County, midway between Harrisburg and Hershey. The currently population is around 4,600.
