PARIS Elevate a sophisticated shade of beige even further with a precise lip line. That’s what Lucia Pica did with Chanel’s Rouge Allure Ink in Warm Beige, £31, perfectly edging it with Le Crayon Lèvres in Rose Naturel, £22. YSL’s Rouge Pur Couture The Slim in Rouge Paradox, £30, was the star of the Saint Laurent show. Favoured by Tom Pecheux for its matt, almost leather-like finish, this classic red is easy to apply thanks to the square-shaped bullet, and lasts seemingly forever on the lips. OF COURSE, THEREÕS the sunshine, the sound of the sea and the scent of suncream, but for many of us, it’s slipping on a comfortable pair of much-loved leather sandals that truly marks the beginning of a summer holiday. Palmaira Sandals’ sustainable, handmade designs are created by local craftspeople in a tiny village in Menorca, in the traditional Avarca style unique to the Balearic isle. Epitomising the laid-back spirit of the island, the timeless, instantly recognisable design of the sandals means they work as well with denim shorts as they do summer dresses, making them an obligatory part of your holiday wardrobe. A small, family-run business – founders and sisters Lisa and Tracey grew up between London and Menorca, and launched the company in 2012 – Palmaira provides jobs for the local…
