I want to introduce you to our newest contributing editor, the winner of the sixth season of Project Runway All Stars—Anthony Elle, a.k.a. Anthony Williams. My first season in the mentor role on the show was a little bit terrifying and a lot of fun. Instead of having to make the tough decision to send someone home every week, as I have been doing once a season as a guest judge for the last few years, I got to dish out compliments, critiques, and the occasional reality check to the country’s top up-and-coming designers. It was my honor to see all the designers evolve and develop their vision into real-life fashion. This season, All Star veterans and newbies alike faced off for the top spot, which included $100,000 to kick-start…

what we love about june

1. GRAPHIC DESIGN Michael Kors is giving your closet some street cred this month. The fashion favorite is launching a black-and-white capsule accessory collection that features an original logo graffiti print reminiscent of early-’80s style. (Backpack, $298, Michael Michael Kors; michaelkors.com.) 2. WOMAN’S WORK Raid the closet of artist Frida Kahlo for some serious signature style inspo at “Frida Kahlo: Making Her Self Up,” which opens on June 16 at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. The first-ever exhibition outside of Mexico to showcase Kahlo’s clothes and personal possessions, alongside self-portraits and photographs, this is an intimate look into an unapologetically feminist, unapologetically colorful icon. 3. HOT STUFF It’s official: June 21 is the first day of summer. Stock up on SPF, chill the frosé (that’s right—frozen rosé), and set up an out-of-office auto-reply…

AGE: 27. HOMETOWN: San Diego. OFF-DUTY: The model, actress, and swimsuit designer showed up in Re/Done x Levi’s skinny jeans, a gray crop top, and a Levi’s denim jacket. She accessorized with layered gold necklaces and burnt-orange Dear Frances leather boots. GO WEST: The shoot kicked off with a ’90s playlist featuring hits by Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera. The vibe eventually turned hip-hop, with Ratajkowski dancing and singing to “No More Parties in L.A.,” by Kanye West and recent Pulitzer Prize winner Kendrick Lamar. BEAUTY ROUTINE: Makeup artist Yumi Mori was inspired by Gisele Bündchen when she created Ratajkowski’s laid-back look. Mori prepped skin with toner and moisturizer, then applied foundation and concealer sparingly. After curling the actress’s lashes, she smudged a cocoa eye pencil between each lash and…
