“June is the time for being in the world in new ways, for throwing off the cold and dark spots of life,” said Sister Joan D. Chittister, the wildly influential Benedictine nun, theologian, author and speaker. We couldn’t agree more. June is a great time to not just see the world, but to be in the world. That means recognizing all the things this gateway to summer offers, and thinking more mindfully in order to experience every nuance. Indeed, those cold and dark spots of life can look and feel much less stressful and frightening when the sun is shining and temperatures soar.
