why we ride

All my life I’ve hated cheese. Despised it. The smell, the taste and the texture, and even the concept of what amounts to eating a loaf of off milk. Recently my partner urged me to try triple cream brie and I’m all in, can’t get enough of it. Where has this been all these years? I still won’t eat cheddar or any of that yellow shit, but the fancy stuff is the bomb. So, if I can eat cheese, why can’t the Japanese build two-strokes? Seems like a big leap but my hatred for cheese has been one of the most passionate stands I’ve made in life and I turned it around to a degree. So, why can’t the Japanese see that four-strokes, while fun to ride, are too damn expensive…

team australia battles the elements

In diabolical conditions, team MXStore Australia has turned heads at the 2019 MXON, which was held in the sandy depths of Assen, the Netherlands. Six-time attendee Dean Ferris led the charge as team captain, flanked by two rookies, Kyle Webster and Regan Duffy. After qualifying, the team that had flown under the radar in the lead-up to the event delivered serious results. Captain Ferris ripped a great start to finish tenth with no goggles against the best MX1 racers in the world. Webster chased American Justin Cooper for the bulk of the race, eventually finishing third — an incredible display by the MXON rookie. Seventeen-year-old Duffy battled into the top three before a tip over set him back. The sand specialist charged back to sixth by the finish. When the racing got…

from team aus

Dean Ferris: “It wasn’t the result which we were after. We were really close to a podium. However, we had a double DNF. Regan and I needed a top-ten finish to make that happen. We got a bad start, but anyway.” Kyle Webster: “Unfortunately, it wasn’t the result which we were looking for, but the boys had a good go and I can’t thank them enough for helping me to get here.” Regan Duffy: “Massive thanks to everyone. I tried my hardest but the bike didn’t end up making it. Awesome riding by both Dean and Kyle. This weekend has been the greatest experience of my life.”…

andrew short wins 2019 rally du maroc

Ex-professional motocross and supercross racer turned rally racer Andrew Short has piloted his Rockstar Energy Husqvarna to victory in the Rally Du Maroc, with the result helping hime secure second place in the 2019 FIM Cross-Country Rallies World Championship. “I can’t believe it — it doesn’t seem real right now,” Short said. “My main goal coming to Morocco was to finish second in the championship, but to take the win feels unreal. I was second at the Silk Way, which was huge for me, but there were a few of the top riders missing. Now all the guys are here at this event getting ready for Dakar and to take the win with such stiff competition is amazing. I couldn’t have done it without the support of the team and the…
