editor’s note

You must have heard it several times over. And I assure you, it is not an exaggeration. A baby changes literally everything about your life. So much that it's a whole new life—with the good, the bad and the ugly—and it does take some getting used to. Your body, your relationships, your sleeping pattern, your friends, hell, even your own belief systems may change! And though you've been warned, you have no idea what is going to hit you (definitely not the first time around). And try as we might, we may not be able to ready you enough. So, what we will do this new year's instead, is make Mother & Baby all about the “new”. If you're a new mum-to-be, we bring you advice for preparing yourself for the transition…
