Your wait of all these weeks is finally about to end, and you are all set to meet someone who will be your prime focus for several years to come. So while you make sure that you take all the care you need to for your own health and that of your baby, always remember that it’s important to take it easy too. HERE ARE A FEW THINGS YOU MUST DO BEFORE THE BIRTH Pamper yourself: Pretty soon, you may not find the time to have a shower and get dressed every morning, let alone paint your nails or shave your legs. newborn skincare

Here are some of the things you should keep in mind Peeling skin: This is normal in babies born past their due date, and clears up in a couple of weeks. editor’s note

When I first started weaning my toddler, I was full of rules: 1 Start weaning not a day before or after the 6-month mark. 2 No sugar and salt. 3 Begin with only homemade and fresh vegetable and fruit purees. 4 Feeding on high chairs only. 5 No distraction while eating. 6 Definitely no screen time. Four days in, and I was ready to throw in the serviette! My child's refused to eat any of the carrot, beetroot or apple purees, and even rejected khichdi! Alarm bells started ringing, and I started playing various scenarios in my head. Is his tongue reflex still active? Does he have sensory issues? I started posting on mommy groups, reached out to experts, researched weaning books.... All the rules started dissolving, along with my hope of raising a child right! Oh…
