If I ever loose my crafting mojo, I look for a new idea or material to perk me back into action. It doesn’t lapse often – sometime post Christmas, or if I’ve had a big deadline to make for. But next time it strikes, I know that turning straight to this issue’s 10 ideas for magnets (p28) will get my crafty gears spinning again! There are so many fun ideas here, the likes of which I’ve never tried before – I hope they inspire you just as much. how to make a crowd scene

Stamp a character onto a piece of card. Stamp the character again onto a Post-it note, with the top of the character positioned on the sticky part. Carefully cut the character out. Line up the cut-out mask over your original stamped image so it covers it and stamp another character as desired. The mask will prevent over-stamping onto the previous one. Create masks of the stamps you want to use. Mask off any characters that will be in the area where you’re adding new stamps. Lift away the masks to reveal your scene.…
