soap star slimmers!

NATALIE J ROBB RUSHED OFF HER FEET Soap star Natalie J Robb, who plays barmaid Moira Dingle in Emmerdale, has shed pounds recently – but diet doesn’t come into it. The 44-year-old Scot revealed that it was down to her hectic schedule on the Yorkshire-based soap. She said of filming: ‘We were working so much, we were flat out, sometimes 10 to 12 scenes a day. You forget to eat. I have just been watching what I eat and I’ve not had time to train.’ But the star hasn’t totally lost her curves: ‘I was given these curves by my mum, and I’m not ashamed of them – we both have boobies and a bum that sticks out,’ she said. ‘For years as a teen I was ashamed, but now I’m all about…

‘in my head, i’m a size 10!’

This Morning’s roving reporter Alison Hammond has famously struggled with her weight over the years. But the Birmingham mum-of-one, 44, is on a mission to finally shed those pounds - and this time, she says, she’ll do it. You’re an ambassador for WW (formerly Weight Watchers), aren’t you? I am, and people really want me to do well! I’d like to get down to a size 16-18 – at the moment I’m a size 22-24. I might not be where I want to be but, mentally, I’m an athlete. Seriously, in my head I’m a size 10. So, watch this space – I’ll reach my target! What does ‘healthy lifestyle’ mean to you? When my heart’s singing, my food’s in control and I’m exercising. For me, a healthy lifestyle is putting myself first –…

snowdon’s slimdown!

TV and radio presenter Lisa Snowdon always looks glam – and has a very healthy attitude to body image. Recently, however, we couldn’t help but notice that Lisa is sporting a noticeably slimmer frame. So, what’s she been doing to trim down? Well, it may be down to her use of cutlery (and no, we’re not joking). The 47-year-old former model has previously said that she prefers to use chopsticks when eating, instead of knives and forks, in a bid to watch her figure. “If I’m hungry and I use a fork, I shovel food in like an absolute cannibal, but with chopsticks, I chew more and it takes longer. It’s a good method to trick myself into eating less.” The former Britain’s Next Top Model presenter is also very anti-scales – preferring to…

new year? ‘don’t look back – life’s too short!’

TV presenter Davina McCall, 52, is your go-to girl if you’re talking about celebrities likely to inspire and whip you into shape on your New Year health kick! Relentlessly positive with ‘a touch of naughty’, the TV presenter – who has battled addiction issues and heartaches (she lost her 50-year-old sister Caroline to cancer in 2012 and was divorced from Matthew Robinson two years ago) – is the woman whose workout DVDs and, more recently, her website Own Your Goals, many will turn to when those jeans are fitting a little too snugly! What’s more, when the dynamic mum-of-three (she has Holly, 18, Tilly, 16, and Chester, 13), shares her refreshingly honest views on fitness, parenthood, divorce and more – you know she’s speaking from the heart. You’re a huge exercise…
