AS I WRITE, the Northeast has yet to fully embrace spring. Yes, the days are longer and the light more effervescent, but the punishing wind seems colder now than in January. It’s perfect weather for baking (the Raspberry Cream Cake from our April issue is one everyone seems to be raving about), braising, and roasting. When my kids were little, we traveled to Anguilla and everyone, children and adults, fell in love with the Malliouhana luxury resort.
