Spectacular racers and the return of a legendary name
What’s your favourite racing machine? Unless you’re a big fan of Formula Ford (an entirely reasonable position!), the chances are your answer will be something with a decent amount of power, a car that looks and sounds impressive when it’s flat-chat. When assessing series, I like to look at three main criteria: the quality of the competitors; the closeness of the racing; and how spectacular the cars are – do they impress even when performing on their own, without wheel-to-wheel action? This motorsport monsters special is a celebration of the cars that provide a resounding ‘yes’ to that question.
