Editor's Letter
Let’s be clear: We did not plan this. We did not say, “Hey, Jennifer and Keke, if you could both stick your right leg in the air so we have a matching set, that would be adorable!” And yet here we are. When these pictures came in from photographers Pamela Hanson and Quil Lemons, I chuckled. We had ourselves some “synergy.” This is our Beauty issue, and looking at these images, I was struck by the two very distinct women who star in them. Two ladies with wholly different approaches as to how they present themselves. First, Jennifer Lopez, who for 30 years has consistently exercised insane degrees of drive, discipline, and rigor.
