I love Emmerdale – it’s the top soap at the moment, I think! I’ve been watching it ever since I can remember. My mum was a big soap watcher, so I was brought up watching them. I loved the helicopter disaster, and I think all the Dingles are great – I would definitely fit in being a Dingle! My dad was in the Army when I was growing up, so we only ever had one TV channel – we had the SSVC [Services Sound and Vision Corporation] for the Army, but every Saturday night we used to get Cilla Black in either Surprise Surprise or Blind Date, and I used to love those.
