Wintertime is the perfect season to enjoy teatime, and especially during January, which has been designated as National Hot Tea Month. Isn’t that a wonderful excuse—as if we really need one—to host a tea party? Nettie Jo’s Carrot Muffins Makes 12 muffins From Wine and Punishment: A Literary Pub Mystery, Book 1 By Sarah Fox 1 cup unsweetened applesauce ½ cup granulated sugar 1/3 cup vegetable oil 3 large eggs 1½ cups all-purpose flour 2½ teaspoons baking powder 1½ teaspoons baking soda 1½ teaspoons ground cinnamon ½ teaspoon salt 2 cups grated carrots • Preheat oven to 420°.
