Get percentage views in Task Manager
Windows’ Task Manager is great when you want to find out why your computer might be running slow. Press Ctrl+Shift+Escape to open it, then select the Processes tab. In the Apps section, you’ll see all programs that you currently have open, along with information on how much strain they’re placing on your computer’s resources (processor, memory, hard drive and more).
By default, the CPU (processor) figure is shown as a percentage, but the Memory, Disk (hard-drive activity) and Network are all displayed as values. However, you can see them all as percentages, so you can tell exactly what proportion of your computer’s resources each one is using.
