bus search

It is irrefutable that 2020 has brought about impactful change to many people’s lives and the way we do business – be that good or bad – but it does not seem to have prevented the evolution of local and global bus product, which was well in motion before all this regardless. The decarbonisation agenda has been in play for a good few years now, driving rules and regulation changes in cities the world over. In terms of commercial vehicles in the Australasian region, the Euro 6 emissions standard is not mandatory yet – and arguably that may prove still some time off given our landmass spread versus population versus sheer CV count on the roads compared with other western nations – but that still hasn’t stopped high-end Euro 5 and 6…

Hanover says that it has put environmental sustainability at the heart of everything it does; from the way it designs its products to how it produces them. Mindful of the need to reduce fuel consumption and C02 emissions,…

the first president

Regional sales manager at MAN Mark Nichols explained to ABC magazine on our test drive that although the MAN-BLK President is aimed specifically at the school bus market, “… it"…it certainly doesn’t look like a bread box”. “It’s a very nice vehicle to drive,” he aded. “I’ve driven it to Melbourne a couple of times and it’s exactly the same as driving a coach.” We were speaking with him to find out more about the collaboration between MAN Bus and Bonluck (BLK), which Nichols described as being very close. “We’re all from the bus industry; I’ve known Rodd Hood and Athol McKinnon from BLK for quite a number of years,” he commented. “They approached us, and we were looking around at the same time, so I think it was meant to be.
