better than ever

“I found a difference in the way my face looked after the first week I used Revitalift. It really helped to diminish the look of fine lines around my eyes.” Lisa, 44 Lisa is a former stay-at-home mom who has moved from the country to become a working professional in the city. After years of putting everyone else first, she realized her skin was showing signs of neglect. She was excited to integrate the Revitalift Triple Power LZR line into her routine — a simple step that made her feel like she was finally doing something for herself. After only one week, she noticed a younger-looking, more vibrant person in the mirror, with smoother, tighter skin and improvement in the look of fine lines around her eyes, helping her find her newfound…

fresh summer

One of the best things about living in a region with four distinct seasons is that we never get tired of seeing them arrive. The crisp air of fall invigorates, every year, and we rub our hands together with glee at the thought of lighting the logs in the fireplace; we witness that first snowfall and, each time, we get a warm, fuzzy feeling while looking forward to the holidays; tiny green shoots poking up through the earth never fail to herald—at last!—that winter is ending; the first double-digit temperatures mean everyone and their brothers don shorts and flip-flops in anticipation of summer. As those dog days arrive, we’re poised to embrace, yet again, all the things we love about midsummer (hello, sun-dresses and drinks on the patio!). This issue, we’re…

at-home hair colour: beauty moments

My first dabble with hair colour was at age 13 with a few liberal splashes of lemon juice to my locks at my bestie’s cottage in Magne-tawan, Ont. By the end of that summer our experimentation had escalated to using powdered drink crystals, which sounds innocent enough but was a rebellious act in my household. My natural colour is light blonde and I was prohibited by my mum to ever alter its flaxen shade. So when I came home from my summer away with blotchy pink hair (that lasted until November), my mum was livid. Fast forward 10 years, I'm an unpaid intern fresh out of school, and my once brilliant blonde was fading, fast. Getting help from a colourist wasn’t in my budget so I went to the drugstore. Before…
