Weed control help please! I’m a great fan of reducing the use of glyphosate. However I’d like a practical solution to weed control on our driveway. While we spend a considerable amount of time trying to control organic debris on the driveway, it is impossible to keep entirely clear, thanks to rabbits, kikuyu and couch grass, and a plethora of deciduous trees. We mow the middle strip but need to keep the sides under control, and while I do weed it, this is undermining the structure of the drive. Our driveway is in two parts: 125 metres of compressed shellrock which grinds down over time, and 150 metres of shellrock which at one stage had an asphalt surface but which is now substantially broken down. Waihi Bush Coconut Oil One of our team recently tried the new Waihi Bush Coconut Oil. This cold-pressed, unrefined, extra-virgin coconut oil has been wild harvested and packed by hand on the island of New Britain in Papua New Guinea, and certified organic by BioGro.
