Anniken Allis Norwegian designer and knitting teacher Anniken has lived in England since 1990, and hosts popular online lace and beading clubs. Anniken’s skills with lace stitches are legendary, and her newest pattern for The Knitter is an intricate shawl in a silky yarn. Turn to page 36 for the pattern. Dario Tubiana Italian designer Dario loves to play with colour, construction and brioche stitch to create sweaters and accessories that will bring a smile to your face! PATTERN NOTES This project has a bottom-up construction. The rib border is worked flat, then the main body is joined to work in the round with a centre steek to the armholes. Sleeves are worked separately in the round then joined to the body; the yoke is worked with V-neck decreases. The steek is finished and cut, then stitches picked up up one side, across the held back stitches, and down other side.
