about the artist

Mark Coyle attended St. Cloud State University in central Minnesota, and spent a year at Alnwick University in northeastern England. He has done many commissions and exhibited and sold art through galleries, as well as illustrated three middle school readers (Milkweed Press and Northstar Press) and two picture books, Loon Spirit and Secrets of the Forest (Northword Press).
