If you think about it, we face an unusual challenge: we’re the first generation to have personal devices constantly by our sides, yet we’re ill equipped to handle the luxury. Take me for example. When I take my phone out to write an email, I’ll often resurface ten minutes later, a picture of a bulldog in a hamburger costume staring back at me as I aimlessly scroll through my Instagram feed. What did I get my phone out for again? Right, the email. When I open the Mail app, I’m…

Plugged Crown Headphones ($99.99) The Crowns are the most comfortable headphones I’ve ever worn; my ears have never been so happy. They, of course, provide great sound too. And although the headphones aren’t Bluetooth enabled, you can connect the audio cord to either of its plush ear cushions. WHAT’S HOT IN THE APP STORE Sunshine (Free) Sunshine isn’t your usual weather app. While most weather apps rely solely on information gathered by satellite (which doesn’t always provide accurate results), Sunshine has a much more personal focus: people. around the iphone life office

Donna, Editor in Chief: I dread deadlines as much as the next person, but they’re the best tool I’ve found for measuring and meeting my goals. Especially with longer-term projects, breaking up the work into manageable chunks helps me get where I want to go. Conner, Feature Web Writer: To-do lists can seem more overwhelming when you’re keeping track in your head. If I feel like I have too much to do, I write down a list of what needs to be done. If it still feels like too much, I choose which tasks can be done another day.
