ANIMAL NEWS Wildlife photographer Frank Liu spotted (ha) this unusual zebra foal on an expedition at the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Kenya. Liu was hoping to photograph rhinos in September, but he found this dark-coloured zebra with unusual colouring. Named ‘Tira’ by a local guide, the foal is likely the result of a rare genetic mutation called ‘pseudomelanism’, where animals have dark spots and larger dark stripes in their coat. STUNT NEWS Alain Robert is a French urban climber, popularly known as ‘French Spider-Man’. He scales skyscrapers with his bare hands and has the world record for most climbed buildings. The 58-year-old from Burgundy, France, has climbed more than 165 structures without a safety cord. Alain climbed the 1538m high Skyper building in Frankfurt am Main on September 28, 2019.
