PHOTO PRO Name: Jarrah Heroic feat: Jarrah’s photo of a camouflaged moth was National Winner of Junior Landcare’s ‘What’s In Your Backyard?’ competition, from over 3000 entries! FAST FIVE WITH JARRAH K-Z : Hi Jarrah! Why did you enter the 'What's In Your Backyard?' competition? J: I found out about it online, and I decided to enter because it was fun and a new interesting thing to do. My photo was taken in the bush, when I was at work with my mum. I used my mum’s phone. K-Z : What was your plan? J: I just wanted to take heaps of photos of all the cool things I kept finding, like frogs, bush tucker in my front yard, and a big grasshopper when we were spotlighting. I have seen lots of camouflaged moths, but never one…

Most of the shoes have been returned to their owners, but Christian’s sneaker is still missing! TV NEWS A new SpongeBob SquarePants prequel series called Kamp Koral is on the way! NAME: Debbie LOCATION: NSW WHAT DID YOU PLAY? The Osmo Coding Starter Kit! WHAT DO YOU NEED? The Osmo app and the games in the kit! The kit comes with coding blocks and a reflector that your iPad can read. So cool! WHAT WAS YOUR FAVE GAME? Coding Jam! It is the medium level game where you can make music patterns and loops with different characters. Each one has a style of music and you unlock more characters as you play. I like the scientist, because the music is electric and cool! WHAT WOULD YOU CHANGE? I was confused about how to play at first, so maybe I’d change the instructions. RATING: 5 OUT OF 5 ELECTRIC GUITARS YOU GET IT! As the You Rate It! star this month, Debbie has scored an epic book pack!…

THREE RUNNERS UP When I sign up for activities (like in the school holidays), I never agree to have my photo taken or used on the forms. This is for two reasons. 1. They can’t use my picture in their ads forever. When I apply for jobs when I’m grown up, people won’t be able to Google me and see that my teeth were missing or that I dressed up as a banana. 2. People can’t pretend to be me and commit identity fraud – which happened to my mum once! Emma, NZ I was playing MultiCraft on the iPad and a notification came up to ask for permission to access my iPad. I immediately told Mum and we closed the game, then installed stronger security. I know to always check with Mum…
