ANOTHER LEGEND GONE
The motorcycle industry lost a valuable member back on Feb. 3, 2021: Dale Walksler, owner of Wheels Through Time Museum, passed away after a long battle with cancer. Dale began in the motorcycle industry by selling motorcycles at the age of 18 and then becoming one of the youngest dealers in Harley-Davidson history as the owner of a franchise in Mt. Vernon, Ill., at the age of 25. Apparently, he even accepted a bear cub as a deposit on a motorcycle once. The bear had full run of the shop until it outgrew the space and was relocated to a local animal shelter. Dale sold his dealership in 2000. Dale founded Wheels Through Time Museum and it’s this museum he was most famous for. As well, his dedication to educate the masses…
