growing up, we had lots of family traditions during the holidays — baking six kinds of cookies with my grandmother, spending an entire day making 200-plus pierogies for wigilia on Christmas Eve and going on a post-meal “death march” around the neighborhood. A(breast) of the Situation I just received the Summer 2019 issue of Oxygen and love, love, love the Editor’s Note back to “Tina” regarding a model with “obvious surgical breast augmentation.” Your response was spot on. I never, ever thought I would get implants. Unfortunately, in 2015, I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer and underwent a total mastectomy with chemo. I chose reconstruction with implants and suffered through four grueling surgeries just to feel a little more feminine and a little more like my former self.
